Parenting in Action is an 8-week group parenting class that utilizes the Nurturing Parenting and Active Parenting Programs. The Nurturing Parenting Programs is a family-centered trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices. The Active Parenting Program is a comprehensive parenting program helping parents of kids ages 5 to 12 raise responsible, cooperative children who are able to resist negative peer pressure and thrive.
